Heading upstairs via the main staircase, there is a large, brightly lit landing about 18 feet by 11 feet. This provides access to the four main upstairs rooms and bathroom. There is a small door off the rear of the landing that leads to the rear (north) side of the house that has two smaller rooms over the kitchen that were once the rooms for the servants. Beyond these two rooms, there is a secondary staircase that leads down to a small lobby off the kitchen.
The four main rooms are all a good size, and each includes at least one built in closet. We have completed most of the restoration on three of the rooms and on the bathroom, and have started on the fourth, the upstairs guest room.
One of the two rear rooms is restored as a library and media storage area to house most of our books, together with my collection of vinyl LPs. The other will become a storage room; what in the UK is known as the "box room".
