On our way to Homer on the Kenai Peninsula about 150 miles SSW of Anchorage.

Coming into Kachemak Bay.

Many of the shops along Homer Spit Road open only when there is a cruise ship in port.

More shops along the Spit. Most of them are great fun, and the prices seem quite reasonable.

While the emphasis is on Alaskan made goods, those pesky "Made in China" labels occur all too frequently.

Alaska Wild Berry Products. Sadly, this, the original branch, has closed but they continue to thrive out of Anchorage & Wasilla.
