Sandwich

First settled in 1637, the village of Sandwich is the oldest settlement on Cape Cod. 
A small parade of shops, including a nice bric-a-brac shop with very reasonable prices

The village pond.  The center picture shows the grist mill that still grinds corn.  Unfortunately, while we were there, it had not opened to the public for the season. 
The Tea Room where we take lunch.  On various occasions, I have enjoyed an excellent English Stilton cheese, and Chicken with leeks, mushrooms and fingerling potatoes on  a bed of puff pastry.
We visited the Sandwich Glass Museum, and
attended a  demonstration of glass blowing.
