Here is a series of views of the Avery Point lighthouse which is located on the campus of the University of Connecticut in Groton. The whole area was once the Morton Freeman Plant estate, which was bought from his heirs in 1942 and used by the US Coast Guard as a training station, for administrative offices and as family quarters for the senior officers.
