The waterfalls are 83 meters (272 feet) tall; about 30 meters (98½ feet) taller than Niagara Falls.

Heading back to the Visitors Centre. Looking out onto the Saint Lawrence and the Pont de l'Île d'Orléans. Constructed between 1934 & 1935, the bridge was called the Taschereau Bridge initially after Premier Louis-Alexandre Taschereau by whom it was commissioned.
