Older Vacations

This section covers older vacations prior to William's move to the US.  When complete, it will cover a time period from about 1960 up to the late 1980s, more or less.  Substantially, these are William's vacations, and include many pictures of his family. 

All the pictures in this section originated as analogue 35mm images, either prints, negatives or slides.  Prints have been scanned using an HP scanner, while slides and negatives have been converted using a "Wolverine F2D" analogue film to digital converter.  The end results vary from poor to quite good.  This is partly as a results the variable quality of the originals, and also the limits of the conversion; the Wolverine, in particular, is far from sophisticated, having no adjustments for white balance etc.  However, the end results provide historical context for me, and are now preserved for posterity!  They may be of some interest to other people.
