Cranberries

Originally named "The Cranberry Saw Us", the band formed in 1990 and comprised Noel and Mike Hogan, with drummer Fergal Lawler and singer Niall Quinn. Quinn was soon replaced by Dolores O'Riordan.  The band changed their name to "The Cranberries" and sent out a demo tape that included both "Linger" and "Dreams".  Following much enthusiasm from the record industry, they signed to Island Records.  They produced five albums:

1993 - Everybody Else Is Doing it, So Why Can't We?

1994 - No Need to Argue

1996 - To the Faithful Departed

1999 - Bury the Hatchet

2001 - Wake Up and Smell the Coffee

In September 2003, they decided to take a sabbatical to pursue individual projects.  They reunited for a concert in January 2009, and announced that there will be an American tour in late 2009, and a European tour in early 2010.

This is a live recording of this excellent song, from a band that, for me, has produced some of the best Indie around.
